Fulfills-MLO 3: LITERARY AND CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE
Reflective Narrative: In this course I was introduced to the historical and cultural overview of Latin América from pre-conquest origins to the present. In order to fulfill MLO 3, I learned about the ways of thinking, behavioral practices and cultural products through works of literature, art, and music. Through this course I was able to have a better understanding of the pre-conquest era, something that I was never taught before. Something I wish to further develop from what I have learned in this course is to continue learning about literature, art and music to see how they reflect the times that they come from. This course relates to another course I took my freshman year, which was about looking at lation culture and literature to get a better understanding of the spanish language. After completing this course I intend to continue on learning through works of literature, art, and music, because it is a way to see how the past was through a different medium. Below I have attached my final reflection that I did, which had me look back at the semester and see how far I have come in regards to learning about Latin América from pre-conquest to present times.
