Reflective Narrative: In course I was to develop my use of Spanish for the professions (business, education, law, medicine, social work, etc.), from a Hispanic cultural perspective. Allowing me practice my language skills, from speaking to writing. In order to fulfill MLO 1, I was able to develop a functional use of Spanish for various professions through a cultural perspective. In order to fulfill MLO 2, I was taught the various applications that Spanish had in regards to the professional world, there is a different dialect that is spoken in this world. Something I wish to further develop is my personal vocabulary when it comes to the terminology because it allows for me to gain a better understanding of topics. This course relates to my personal life. I learned that there is a certain terminology that goes with every profession, I found it to be useful because I want to become a physical therapist and this course allowed me to begin to learn some of the terminology that is going to be needed. After completing this course I intend to take what I have learned and build upon it, continuing learning the terminology for the physical therapy in not only english but spanish as well, this was the first step in the right direction. Below I have attached a cultura telegram that was the final for the class, it was to describe every aspect of a country, from what the meaning of the flag was to the modes of transportation that was available to the people, and having to present it to the class what we discovered.
