Reflective Narrative: In this course I was to continue building on communicative language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through readings and discussions of authentic Hispanic cultural and literary texts. In order to fulfill MLO 1, I was tested on my ability to communicate and write within the ACTFL guidelines. Through this course I was able to improve my oral and writing skills, improving on what I already have been learning in previous courses. Something I wish to further develop my skills, especially my writing and speaking because even though I have improved on it overall there is still work to be done. This course relates to all the other courses that taught me the correct way of speaking and writing, along with helping me improve my connection with the language. After completing this course I intend on building from what I have learned and continue on improving my language skills. Below I have attached an example of an argumentative essay, it was to either debunk the idea that we landed on the moon or that we in fact landed on the moon. I went with the position that we did in fact land on the moon and through the essay I had to argue as to why while being aware of my composition. By taking this class I was able to elevate my vocabulary and my writing skills, something that I feel can always be improved on no matter what.
